Running a BlackBerry Diagnostics Test 10 Months ago Karma: 1
If you are having issues connecting sending or receiving messages on your BlackBerry device, and you have verified that you are on a BlackBerry Enterprise plan you may want to run a diagnostics test on your phone. The diagnostics report will let you know if the phone is connecting to the wireless data network correctly.

Here are some instructions on running a BlackBerry diagnostics report:

1. On the phone go to Options > Mobile Network
2. Click the menu button and select "Diagnostic Test"
3. Click the menu button again and select "Run"

In the diagnostic test we are looking for these results:

Radio Data Activation: Yes
ICMP Ping Echo: Yes
BlackBerry Registration: Yes
Connected to BlackBerry: Yes
BlackBerry Pin-Pin: Yes

If there is a "No" on any of these lines then the phone might be either out of a data area or need to be registered with the data network.
